A new evaluation of the t → cH decay width in the standard model. Abstract We present a new calculation of the t → cH decay rate in the standard model. We find that the corresponding branching fraction is B(t → cH) ≃ 10 −13 ÷ 10 −14 for M Z ∼ < m H ∼ < 2M W , that is about 6 orders of magnitude less than previously evaluated, and usually quoted in the literature.
